YAKIMA - Douglas Ray Beebe, 59, of Union Gap died Saturday Sept. 18, 2010 at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Doug was born January 10, 1951 in Yakima, WA to Abraham and Marjorie (Letlow) Beebe. He was raised in Yakima County, but also lived in many different areas of California. On June 2,1973, he married Lena Duke in Caiifornia and they were married for 22 years. Doug has spent the past 13 years with his significant other, Mary Riley. Doug was an enrolled member of the Grand Ronde Tribe of Oregon. He drove logging truck for Tiin-ma Logging Company in White Swan for 30 years. Doug was a long time member of Vintiques Car Club, and A.B.A.T.E.
He loved car shows, parades, street rods, Harleys, fishing, hunting and getting into trouble. His last wishes were to have a cigarette, and have family & friends around him.
Doug is survived by his mother, Marjorie Beebe of Union Gap; sons, Joe Beebe (Dennie) of Wapato, and Kevin Beebe (Susan) of Sunnyside; daughter, Catrina Palachuk (Adam) of Olympia; significant-other, Mary Riley of Yakima; former wife, Lena Duke of Lakewood; brother, Robert Beebe of Packwood; sister, Sharon Beebe of LasVegas; grandchildren, Auston, Brandon, Kaila, and Katelynn Beebe, Micheal Palachuk-Beebe, Shyan, Stevnie, and J.D. Beebe, Kathie Crook and Wyatt Beebe. He was preceded in death by his father Abraham "Brownie" Beebe.
