John G. “Chuck” Naasz passed away at the age of 84 at Cottage in the Meadow Hospice in Yakima, Washington, on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 following a battle with cancer. Chuck, also affectionately known as “Charlie,” was born in Terry, Montana on May 31, 1931.

From Terry, Montana he moved to Fairfield (Great Falls), Mt. The family then moved in 1942 to Yakima, Washington where he attended Mckinley and Franklin schools and graduated from Yakima Senior High School in 1949. connellydaleDale E. Connelly, 78, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 25, 2015. Dale was born in Yakima on September 12, 1936, the oldest of 4 children to Morris and Gertrude Connelly. Dale was raised in Yakima and graduated from Naches High School in 1954. His sister Phyliss introduced him to one of her friends, Noreda Cooper, and not long after they eloped to Stevenson, WA, on November 2, 1954. Dale then entered the Air Force in 1955, serving 4 years as an aircraft mechanic. Most of Dale’s career was spent working as a diesel mechanic at Associated Grocers for 21 years. After the closing of A.G. in Yakima he owned andoperated Connelly’s Automotive until his retirement.

Dave graduated from Davis High School where he was an outstanding athlete. He attended YVC and the Cornish Art Institute of Seattle. Dave joined the Army Reserves and fulfilled his commitment. He was a member of the Realtors Association and retired from Coldwell Banker. Dave owned several restaurants in Yakima and in Seattle. He was a good cook. David was a mechanical genius. Charles (84) passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 surrounded by his family at home in Yakima, Washington after a courageous battle with heart disease.
Charles was married to Mary Jo Samsal before cancer took her at an early age. Charles and Mary Jo had two daughters, Charlene Darcey Hansen and Lori Darcey Mercer. Charles attended Holt High School and afterwards joined the Navy in July 1948 where he served 4 years.

Greg was born on Aug. 11, 1960 in Elkhart to Mary Ellen Hughes and the late Wilfred G. Hughes. He was a loving father to two children, son, Justin Hughes and daughter, Jessica (Cedric) Rainey.
